Meet the animator

Hi! I’m Andrezza, an animation student at KCAI with a passion for visual storytelling and hands-on filmmaking. I grew up moving from country to country, so instead of one place, I’ve found my sense of home through creativity and making. I first connected with art at a young age while living in Mexico, and was influenced early on by my aunt’s love for theater and storytelling.

At KCAI, I discovered my passion for stop-motion and fell in love with its tactile, physical process. I work with materials like cardboard, clay, and found objects, building props and sets by hand. My work leans into absurd, chaotic humor and often pulls from personal experiences, creating pieces that are self-reflective, a little unhinged, and not meant to be taken too seriously.
